Thanks for coming to my “You Got My Card!” page. I appreciate your interest and I hope that you find a reason to reach out to me with a proposal, enquiry, comment or just to say “What’s up bro!”
So you got my card and you want to find out more; here goes…
I am a photographer with wide and varied interests. I like people and photography and am always open for a portrait, family, lifestyle, or event shoot. I do landscapes too, but I don’t think you are a tree, river or mountain so I wont discuss that here.
I have fun when I shoot and my shoots are fun too. I take my photography seriously, I don’t talk a lot; but by nature I am friendly with have a quirky sense of humour (Don’t worry, I’ve learned to keep that under wraps). On the other side, I stress out over doing things right and photography is no different.
As I said, I shoot, fashion, portraits, lifestyle, etc., but I’m not looking to shoot nudes or implied (or as it is commonly called – “fine art portraiture”); mainly because I share my work with my kids and they are a big part of my photography.
If you got my card then we might have met socially or on a shoot. You might be someone that I saw in the area and thought you had a striking feature that would photograph well. Whatever the circumstance I’d like the opportunity to see what kind of awesome pictures we can create.
However you got to this page, if you are near to Toronto/Oakville then contact me for a photo shoot. Don’t worry about not having done one before, I can give you some coaching that you can use right then or in the future.
I’ll photograph all types and ages. You have memorable stories and moments in life every day, let me get to know you and turn your stories into great images. My goal is to make the best photograph of you that you have ever had, its an ambitious goal – but you might surprise yourself . Actually, there are a lot of other great photographers around so it may not be “The Best”. However, it will be fun, it will be good, it will be thoughtful and will fit your personality.
If you are under age…
If you got this card and you are under 18 then that was a mistake on my part – but you might just have a future in front of the camera. I wont photograph anyone under age without the company of a parent or guardian. I have a daughter and a son so I understand that people are cautious and protective – plus as a photographer I have to protect myself too. However, show it to your guardian and ask them or keep it until you are a bit older or to come along. The pictures of any kids on my site are either my kids, one of their friends or had the approval of an adult.
Even if we don’t shoot together keep visiting my web site, I appreciate the support.
If you read this far then thanks for the time and I hope you take the extra step and send an email to richard.a.kelly@outlook.com or leave a comment.
