It is more important to click with people than to click with the shutter – Alfred Einsenstaedt.

Photoshoot with Muirina organised by Stephen Lombard.

Our model was a cheerful, easygoing, and very knowledgable.  She could deliver any expression or mood that was required.  Hope to get a chance to work with her again, thanks for a great shoot Muirina.

White background light set up.

Set up for white blown out background.  Values were chosen to get ethereal wraparound flare effect shown in photograph below.

Next 2 shots were a single large 5ft umbrella with diffusion fabric at camera right metered to F5.6 with a light meter.  Model stood on white floor and walls of studio were white which resulted in very even lighting all around.  Whenever I look at the photo below I regret that I did not pay more attention to the hair alling down her back and filling in the triangle between her arm and her back.  It’s a lesson learned.
